    Verdict

COOL BARANCA would probably have preferred a slightly softer surface but she goes well here, is in decent form and not badly handicapped. Dianne Sayer's mount is probably the one to beat on her latest second over track and trip. Short Takes was in good form earlier in the year but hasn't raced since disappointing at Hexham in April. Mo Rouge has also had a couple of months off and The Ice Factor races for the first time since August last year. Moss Street would have leading claims on his form last year but has a bit to prove on recent efforts and now tried in blinkers.
