Cartmel second Snake Charmer gets no respite from the handicapper but has place claims again, while Los Nadis has run well on the Flat since beating Glingerbank over a shorter trip here last month. Trendelenburg won over 3m3f here in the spring but is now 16lb higher and has been chasing lately. Another Dimension looks a better bet than stablemate Mirage Dore, while Devotion To Duty should win more races once the cobwebs have been blown away. Doctor Foxtrot and ROYAL RIVIERA also have scope for further improvement, however, with the latter particularly interesting now tried over 3m. He shaped like a stayer when successful over 2m4f at Hereford last season, even though his Flat pedigree suggested he'd be better over 2m.
