The Cockney Mackem was a short-priced favourite for the first race here on Wednesday but was withdrawn at the start. The seven-year-old doesn't look one to put the mortgage on so we'll take him on in this with BARDELI. He'll have learned plenty from his hurdling debut at Carlisle and Donald McCain won this last year with a similarly lightly-raced sort. Jimmy The Hat may need further and Elmaatigra's best run so far came over 2m4f while none of the others make much appeal.
