Verdict

AULD STHOCK looks the one to beat in this opener on his latest course and distance second to Long Lunch when Noble Friend, Snapchat and Slaney Star were all behind. Ashdown Lad stepped up on his debut run at Huntingdon to finish second at Ludlow and this former Flat winner rates a danger but Enchanting Smile, placed four times last season, may need this and Even If has produced a couple of poor efforts either side of a fourth at Newton Abbot.
