      Verdict

Carnspindle ended the last campaign in sparkling form, completing a double then finishing runner-up in a Listed contest. She hasn't maintained that progress so far and was behind JESTER JET (NAP) when Tom Lacey's mare finished runner-up at Ascot nine days ago. The latter completed a hat-trick in the spring and can get back to winning ways. Culture De Sivola looked ideally suited by a stamina test at Chepstow though that was a Class 4 handicap and she's 5lb higher. Tambura has won this for the past two years and is on a 3lb lower mark than a year ago so has to be respected as has Ding Ding, who won over 2m4f here a month ago before finishing runner-up on Polytrack at Lingfield. Act Now has won here though, like What A Diva, at a lower level while Marienstar's only victory came in a seller.
