      Verdict

      Ace Fighter Pilot's maiden hurdle victory came on fast ground and he has something to prove in today's heavy going. Uncle Jimmy opened his account at Fontwell but was a big disappointment at Ffos Las on his latest start. Winning pointer Dunloughin is worth noting on his debut under Rules but SPEEDY TUNES also won a point-to-point back in March and Nicky Henderson's charge gets the vote on his first start over timber. Flugzeug has shown little so far and Water Wagtail was well beaten in a bumper on his racecourse debut.
