      Verdict

      ALAWEER has looked very one-paced in his two runs over a mile but he's bred for further so should do better and gets the vote. Perche, who cost 200,000 euros, will also be suited by stepping up in trip though an absence since November is a concern. Smooth Operator finished last on his debut at Redcar in May but still started favourite back there last month where there was a little bit of improvement. Mashkoor Approach is entitled to improve for his debut effort at Goodwood though he was beaten a long way.
