Although there are several potentially useful newcomers here, TORCHLIGHTER sets a high standard and will be difficult to beat. Mark Johnston's colt couldn't quite hold the persistent challenge of Oxsana over 7f at Yarmouth but the winner very nearly landed a major sales race at Newmarket on Saturday so the form looks useful. The Godolphin colt My Target has a first-class pedigree being a half-brother to four winners including a Grade 1 winner in the USA. William Haggas has his horses flying so the Dutch Art colt Soviet Courage is one to keep an eye on as is Three Cliffs, who is by Exceed And Excel out of a Group 3 winner.
