MAD JAZZ is not the most progressive in the field but she does have form in soft going. She finished runner-up in better company than this over a mile at Newcastle last month and gets a tentative vote. Royal Steps couldn't cope in a higher grade handicap at Doncaster last time but had gone very close at this level earlier while Elegant In Silk and Rainbow Beauty may both improve for the step up in trip and the former has been placed in slow ground before. Inchy Coo and Glen Ginnie look up against it however.
