In depth

Verdict

HECK THOMAS won his bumper here last month on heavy ground. He has a terrific NH pedigree and is likely to start at short odds on his hurdling debut. Madeira Classic was no great shakes on the Flat and is best watched on his hurdles bow but Just A Par has won a point-to-point, as has Thats The Dream, though the latter appears unreliable like Fairyhouse bumper winner Starkie. Wasgo may be the pick of the remainder but that's probably not saying a great deal.
