Verdict

Whiskey And Red won at Downpatrick before finishing third in a better race at Thurles and has to go on the short-list in this. Tyrone Tiger started favourite at Clonmel last Thursday and only found one too good while Western Man was second to VIC CHIC at Tipperary last month and is 7lb better off here. However, that was a much-improved performance from Julie Weston's mare and she may be worth following now she's got her head in front. Robbie Kaydee is tried in blinkers after reverting to type at Thurles last time but may still struggle to open his account.
