Willie Mullins has won this for the past two years and will be hoping to make it a hat-trick with Pickapocketortwo, a comfortable bumper winner at Downpatrick in July. He looks certain to make a decent hurdler and has to be a threat though FLYING LIGHT looks the one to beat. John Queally's charge showed some promise in two very strong maiden hurdles before comfortably landing a Tramore bumper on heavy ground at the end of December. Par Five made an encouraging debut over timber behind Joe Smooth on heavy ground here last month but didn't do quite so well at Leopardstown a couple of weeks later. Burren Bridge landed a four-year-old maiden point at Lingstown in October and Tony Martin should have him primed for a big run here.
