Verdict

MONALEE (NAP), runner-up to Penhill in the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham, didn't run quite as well in a Grade 1 at the Festival here in April but has always been regarded as a potentially classy chaser. This is no easy task on his debut over fences but he can make a successful start. Any Second Now is another with a chasing pedigree so the fact that he managed to win a Grade 2 over hurdles speaks volumes and he'll be ready for this, as he was on last year's debut. Sutton Manor has the benefit of experience over fences having run very well behind the well-regarded Presenting Percy at Galway where a couple of mistakes didn't aid his cause. De Name Escapes Me didn't get close enough at Thurles and will need to do much better but Invitation Only, a close third to the very smart Death Duty over timber at Navan, is another potentially useful chaser for Willie Mullins.
