WHAT LIES AHEAD made a very encouraging debut behind the favourite Aminabad at Leopardstown and only succumbed in the closing stages. The winner is Cheltenham-bound so it was a fine effort from Willie McCreery's mare who should go one better. Iffjack was beaten 16 lengths and can hardly be expected to reverse the form but Flight Plan, who made his racecourse debut over hurdles at Naas where he performed with credit, is bred for the Flat so should provide a threat. Henry De Bromhead's newcomer Motown Bob is a full brother to a winning bumper so should be monitored in the betting.
