Verdict

Gigginstown have four entries here and Bryan Cooper has plumped for DISKO (NAP), who he rode into third place behind Yorkhill in the JLT at Cheltenham. He was behind A Toi Phil at Punchestown in November but subsequent runs against Irish National hero Our Duke, one a close third and another a victory, must have persuaded him to choose Noel Meade's charge. A Toi Phil was a bit disappointing behind Val De Ferbet in a Grade 3 at Cork and will need to raise his game from that while Anibale Fly ran a shocker behind Acapella Bourgeois at that level at Navan. The winner couldn't handle the step up to Grade 1 level in the RSA but still looks to have the call over the remainder.
