Island Oscar created a surprise when beating FAR AWAY SO CLOSE at Killarney in May and is still progressing but that was a slowly-run affair and the latter, who pulled very hard that day and has since impressed when beating yesterday's winner Apt Manor at Tipperary, gets the vote to reverse the form and take this. Hazeymm has found it tough going in better grade after his two victories in August and penalties won't help but he enjoys fast ground and is no forlorn hope to concede the weight. Baracas has been running well in decent company but his overall form falls short of that of the selection though he easily holds Dumitas on their run at Galway in July.
