Verdict

Patrick Mullins gave Ceol Rua a hard time when she was narrowly beaten by Sugar Bullet at Naas and picked up a ban as a consequence. Providing the mare hasn't been affected she looks certain to go well as the extra quarter-mile will suit. Backinthere is another who needs a stiffer test of stamina than she has been getting and ran well behind What An Flyer at Cork while Metro Star has been outpaced inside the final furlong on her two latest starts so her rider is likely to make this a strong gallop. That should suit BENNY'S FAGARTHA, who ran a very pleasing race on her debut behind Catcherinthescratcher at Navan last month where she stayed on stoutly, looking a sure-fire future winner in the process.
