        Verdict

        Montiboli, Carnival Queen and Desert Lark look the main protagonists in this maiden and the vote is given to Montiboli. The selection was a fair third behind Green Oasis last time out. That form sets the standard here and he need only run up to that mark to win this. Carnival Queen rates the main danger on her latest fourth behind Gypsy Baby she is another that is sure to improve and should be watched in the market. Desert Lark is a colt by Sakhee from a shrewd yard and is another that should be watched in the market. Carnival Dream has ran with promise in three runs to date and is another with place claims but he is more exposed than the selection Montiboli.
