In depth

Verdict

Jibajaba gets the confident vote in the finale with Musical Land and Starbougg rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair fourth behind Les Fazzani last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and the fact that he also has fair form on a fast surface is a bonus and he is taken to score. Musical Land rates the main danger on his latest seventh off a mark of 71 in a handicap behind Graceful Steps. This looks easier and he should be watched in the market with the faster ground also looking to be in his favour. Starbougg ran well on her debut last season when second but was very disappointing on her second start. However she has definite place claims if fit after a 330 day break. Of the remainder Shotley Mac has had plenty of chances and again looks vulnerable but for the winner we return to Jibajaba.
