Verdict

Geoff Oldroyd's LADY DEL SOL is probably too high in the weights for nurseries judged by her latest start at York but she has plenty in hand on official BHA ratings over her rivals and a reproduction of earlier form will make her tough to beat in this company. Delaney's Dream faces no easy task on his debut, while the Michael Dods-trained Yorketa ran promisingly on his only start so far when a decent second in a heavy ground Newcastle maiden last month but is hard to weigh up. George Moore's Bernisdale and Richard Fahey's Bachelor Knight are others worthy of a mention but it is hard to get away from Lady Del Sol, who looks the one to beat.
