Verdict

Smirfy's Silver had a couple of runs under his belt when winning this race off a lower mark last year and others make more appeal. Another rise in the weights for a couple of placed efforts is not ideal for Brighton winner Timocracy, while a 6lb rise for winning at Ayr last time could scupper the chances of Marino Prince. Media Stars' C&D victory came in a seller and Carnival Dream has plenty to prove over the trip so the vote goes to PETSAS PLEASURE. Ollie Pears' charge scored at this track last month and remains on a winning mark judged on his best form.
