        Verdict

        Ormskirk should be noted given Richard Fahey has won the last two renewals though neither of them were newcomers. Fine Example is a half-brother to the prolific Layline and Kentuckyconnection cost 60,000gns. Dempsey Roll is speedily bred but stablemate MY TWO SCOOPS showed plenty of early pace when fourth at Ayr on his debut and Ann Duffield's colt may prove good enough. Broadway Melody and Barabau are likely improvers to keep an eye on.
