        Verdict

        Plenty of form to go in in this maiden, and plenty of head-scratching, however Cape Cobra gets the vote ahead of Trees Of Green and Land's End. John Gosden always seems to have his stable in fair form and he will be hoping to gain a win today with Cape Cobra. He has been in the top four in his three starts to date and the blinkers that were applied last time remain on today. A drop in trip could suit given his way of racing so far, and with more improvement to come from this expensive purchase, it could be another winner for Seb Sanders. Music Box Express needs a check in the betting as his stable look the type able to get one ready first time up. Spice Gardens was bitterly disappointing last time, however the drop back to this trip could suit and he cannot be ruled out at more fancy prices. Land's End is another who has proven disappointing to date. His best run came on soft ground at Windsor so he may appreciate any rain that comes. Until When returns from a lengthy absence and it is not unreasonable to think that he may need the run, so a more eminent threat could be Trees Of Green. He hasn't gone on since some promising initial efforts and the visor tried last time is dispensed with. The drop in trip could suit at this stage of his career and he looks a real player. A competitive maiden and narrow preference is for Cape Cobra.
