Verdict

Kidlat, Altitude and Alqaahir make the shortlist here, with Luca Cumani taken to conmtinue his winning form with the interesting Kidlat. Altitude represents Sir Mark Prescott and is top rated on official ratings. Out of a Darshaan mare, this grey filly may appreciate further and she has been second on three occasions and is taken to fill that berth again. Alqaahir clearly has ability, chasing home the useful Wood Chorus last time, placed on both his outings to date. He can go well once more but may have to settle for a place. Kidlat, a son of Cape Cross, comes from a family of winners, and having missed the break on his debut at Yarmouth, he was a real eye-catcher, staying on from a long way off the pace to finish fourth against more experienced rivals. Kidlat looks a solid selection.
