BLACKBALL looked an improved performer when scoring at Yarmouth on his return to action. That didn't escape the attention of the handicapper and he's been raised 8lb but David Lanigan's charge has plenty of scope and can go in again. Darkside is another recent winner who can figure having won over 7f here last month and Red Paladin landed his maiden over the same distance at this track in April. Dialogue should be taking advantage of his tumble down the weights before long and is preferred to Illustrious Prince.
