Godolphin won this last year but Oakham may need more time and stable companion Backstage Tour needs to improve on his latest third at Brighton to figure here. Sicur was only beaten a short-head over a mile a Doncaster last month before running Autun to a neck over the same trip at Nottingham. He has the beating of Train Hard on that run and deserves a change of luck but there isn't a great deal between Luca Cumani's colt and DISCLAIMER on the form book and this longer trip is also going to suit the Cecil representative. Like Sicur, he also has an entry in next year's Epsom Derby and has already proved he handles soft ground. Borodino and Gods Gift are open to improvement but may find this company too hot.
