Luca Cumani used to make a habit of winning here at Redcar and he should take this event with Neutrino, Raze and Namathej look the obvious dangers. Neutrino is a typical Bedford Lodge handicapper who will no doubt progress throughout the season. He stepped up on his seasonal debut to beat Arthurs Dream by a comfortable two lengths in a modest Chepstow event. This is a stronger race but you can be assured there will be plenty of improvement to come. Raze is from the powerful Michael Stoute yard and could be anything. He landed his maiden at Salisbury in game fashion and does get in here on a fair mark. Similar comments apply to Ed Dunlop's Namathej, who steps up in trip after beating Hue at Newcastle. Toldo and Loch Quest are two others worthy of a mention, but in quite a tricky affair Neutrino is expected to collect.
