Verdict

Lord Franklin is very consistent and is just 4lb higher than his victory at Haydock in May so has to go on the shortlist. Prophesy doesn't win often but the assessor has given him a chance by dropping him 3lb and though The Firm's two victories came at Dundalk he's been performing with credit and will be winning on Turf soon. The front-running KEEP TO THE BEAT only succumbed in the closing stages when attempting to make all over an extra furlong at Hamilton so this should prove ideal and Shane Grey can steer him to his first success. Mighty Missile was making his handicap debut in a four-runner race at Ripon and couldn't contain Tamayuz Magic. There should be more to come but he may need a bit more experience.
