Verdict
CABBIES LOU just failed to catch the winner in soft going at Newcastle on her debut. There's no reason why she shouldn't prove as effective on a faster surface and she gets the vote. Stanghow's fifth at Thirsk looks stronger form than Fairweather Trader's fourth in a seller at Redcar, but one of the newcomers may prove a bigger danger. Snow Cloud has a speedier pedigree than stablemate Blazing Rose but Elevator Action makes more appeal as she's a half-sister to a couple of winners.
