Verdict

Sir Henry Cecil won this in 2010 and runs two with Isatis preferred to newcomer Portraitofmylove, though the former has some improving to do if she's to match COMMEND. The latter was just held by Almuftarris at Lingfield last time and that looks the strongest form on offer. Almaas ran a couple of promising races last year and should be thereabouts along with Star Date, fourth in a maiden at Chester recently, while Vital Calling finished a creditable second over a mile here on his debut.
