Early Bird ran well for most of her first campaign and deserved her comfortable maiden victory at Catterick. Her stable companion FLOWING CLARETS made a successful debut over 6f on soft ground at Leicester and things didn't go right for her when tackling a Wolverhampton nursery next time so compensation awaits. Gwendolyn had been showing good pace over 6f before gaining an impressive victory over this trip in a Wolverhampton maiden. Sir Dudley has already run 15 times and won twice.
