In depth

Verdict

A couple of disappointing types here and it wouldn't be a shock to see Crysdal show major improvement for her Newmarket debut. French import Iftikaar was well beaten at Thirsk last time while Hanno has been beaten at short prices on his last four starts. Kiss Of Spring showed a bit of promise at Lingfield but Lilly Junior was beaten a long way in a Redcar claimer last time. The vote goes to TASMANIAN, who is closely related to a host of winners and made a fair start to his career at Pontefract when running on at the finish after missing the break.
