Verdict

Battalion won his maiden over track and trip before winning a Class 2 handicap at Yarmouth and can figure on his return to action. But RAWAKI should be sharper with a good third in the Group 3 John Porter Stakes at Newbury under his belt and the top weight gets the vote. Chancery also ran well on his comeback at Doncaster considering he needs faster ground while Blue Wave has shown progressive form on the all-weather this year. Marco Botti runs two but De Rigueur needed 2m to get his head in front at Haydock and Suegioo continues to rise in the weights without winning.
