Aidan O'Brien and Jim Bolger have shared the two previous renewals and this looks between then again. The former saddles FORTIFY, who could only finish third in a four-horse race on his debut in very heavy ground at Listowel. He missed the break that day and looked very green when asked to close but that will have done him the world of good and he can take this. Bolger's Beyond Thankful showed the benefit of his opening run with a fine effort behind Flameseeker at that same Listowel meeting and should progress further. He looks to have more scope than Frozen North, who was well beaten at Gowran last time, while Truly Delightful has had too many chances.
