In depth

Verdict

Crocodile Shoes has been tried over much longer trips on his two starts to date and has looked one-paced. He's entered in the St Leger Trial at the Curragh this weekend so this may prove too short. Qualia has been racing on ground with plenty of give in France so she should be at home in these conditions on her first start for Johnny Murtagh. Finian's Bay was beaten a long way into second on her debut over 1m4f at Tipperary but wouldn't have enjoyed the very testing conditions and should do better. KARADENIZA has a fine middle-distance pedigree and is related to several winners so she's taken to make a successful start.
