Red Current, No To Trident and Animator are shortlisted in this claimer and the vote is given to RED CURRENT. The selection is not the most consistent but she beat Threestoneburn in this grade last time out and she could not have been any more impressive. She again has trip and ground to suit today and she has an obvious chance. No To Trident was third in that Leicester race having just failed to last home after kicking clear of the field. He was a beaten favourite that day and on the evidence of that race we can't see him reversing the form today. Animator was well beaten in this grade last time out but he didn't appear to see out the trip and the return to this distance should suit. Street Crime has been knocking on the door in maiden company and Andrew Balding's 3-year-old remains unexposed, so he has to be of interest and he is worth noting in the market. Zero Cool, North Parade and Marvo are others worthy of a mention.
