In depth

Verdict

Another wide open maiden in which the market may prove the best guide. Indian Trail, Desert Opal and Cheeky Lad are all sure to have there supporters. However we prefer to take a chance on Lets Party. The colt from the Richard Hannon yard showed enough as a two year old to suggest he can win a race of this nature and with the Hannon horses in good form he will be hard to beat. Indian Trail was a fair third behind Zabaglione last season but he dissapointed after. However if he returned in that sort of form he would have definite place claims. Desert Opal is well bred and is sure to strip fitter than for his first run of the season so he is worth keeping a close eye on in the market. Cheeky Lad is another well bred sort and his stables two year old runners have been running well of late. Of the remainder Apache Queen is from a yard in top form and is worth a look in the market.
