In depth

Verdict

It's four years since Kie last ran on the Flat but he won three times over fences last year and David Pipe will be hoping his charge can take advantage of a potentially lenient mark on the level. Halling's Wish was second at Lingfield on his return to the Flat and is another with decent claims, though isn't guaranteed to beat third Snow Conditions again on the revised terms. NORA BATTY was returning from a break when winning at Chepstow in June. She wasn't disgraced at Bath subsequently, despite only beating one home, and can get back on track today with a further step up in trip probably in her favour.
