GLOWING PRAISE hails from a yard in good form and he gets the vote here over Rafiqa and Star Links. Ed McMahon is enjoying a purple patch and Glowing Praise was an impressive winner when beating Mefraas at Leicester last month. He looks progressive and his overall form works out quite well so he makes plenty of appeal. Rafiqa was well punted at Newmarket last time when she ran a respectable race to finish third behind Cyflymder. She looked in need of the run that day so she should come on plenty and she could be a leading player here. Star Links was a little disappointing over 7f at Kempton last time but prior to that he had run well over a mile at Goodwood and the return to today's trip is a definite plus. Roar of Applause is consistently running well but the handicapper may just have his measure at present and he looks set for a place at best. Global would have claims on his best form but he has been a long way below that on his last two starts and he is hard to back with confidence at present. Glowing Praise has plenty in his favour and he gets the vote.
