Verdict

Jailawi is an interesting runner in this as he didn't make his debut until May and already has a win and two seconds to his name. Tercel is sure to be popular having got off the mark in a Sandown maiden, though he looks closely matched with Chepstow and Epsom scorer Potentate on a line through the reliable Hesbaan. Connections withdrew BOWIE BOY from a scheduled run at Windsor on Sunday on account of the soft ground but the going should be fast enough here for the Sandown runner-up, who has plenty of scope on Turf. He gets the nod, though Inspector Norse probably isn't badly treated if putting a poor run at Kempton behind him.
