Arcadian Cat comes out ahead on official ratings but was extremely disappointing when beaten a week ago at 2/9 in what looked a very winnable Carlisle maiden. There may have been a good reason for that below par run but this is far tougher. Caravela showed a pleasing attitude to land a Class 5 Newbury handicap this month and is progressing but it's questionable if she can give 6lb to SAVAANAH. The Charlton filly is improving with each run, the champion jockey is booked and the step-up to a mile and a quarter should see her in an even better light.
