Verdict

The Hannon yard has won four of the last seven renewals so Beacon will prove popular in this. He looks sure to improve from a three length defeat at Doncaster on his debut. But FINE PRINCE also showed promise on his introduction at Windsor when pushing the winner all the way to the line. That also looks stronger form than Popeswood and Amber Crystal have shown and Robert Mills' charge gets the nod. Eileen Gray has some speed in her pedigree and makes most appeal of the newcomers.
