Fifty missed an intended engagement the other day and assuming all is well here, she gets the vote ahead of Mason Ette, Calypso Charms and Glencal. The selection won at the track two runs back when she seemed to appreciate a strong pace throughout. The way she saw out her race on that occasion suggests that the return to this trip won't harm and with tithe ground in her favour she should run well. Mason Ette has also won at the track but it will be a fine effort to carry top weight to victory, especially given the horse's win record of one in twelve. Glencal was slightly disappointing recently at Lingfield, but had previously won well over course and distance and she has kept her form well in the past. Danseuse Volante is capable of better than she showed last time when she let down favourite backers, whilst Calypso Charms is one to watch in the betting making her handicap debut today. An open contest, but Fifty has solid claims and gets the nod.
