With nothing to prove as far as stamina is concerned DAZINSKI is very much the marginal call in this ultra competitive handicap with Devil To Pay and Curacao also in with strong chances. The selection proved his staying power for this trip when we was only just beaten late on in his first attempt at this distance last time. That was off this mark and with the first two well clear of the filed that day he should go close again. Devil To Pay is yet to chance his fitness over this long but he did stay on well to only find a well handicapped rival too good on his last start and he is running well at present. Curacao also has to prove he stays this far but again he shaped as if he should when taking a race against similar opposition on his only visit to this track last time. That said he now has an extra five pounds to carry which might be telling. Act Three usually runs her race and should mount a challenge again off a good weight but with stamina already proven Dazinski has our confidence if only just.

Curacao 11-2 (9-5) Chased leaders, came towards stands side rail 3f out, driven to lead entering final furlong, stayed on well, won at Salisbury 1m 4f hcp 0-75 (5) sft beating Mustajed (9-11) by 1 1/2l, 7 ran.
Admirable Duque (IRE) 4-1 (8-13) Held up in rear, pushed along over 3f out, soon beaten, 5th of 7, 16l behind Turjuman (8-13) at Windsor 1m 4f hcp 0-80 (4) gf.
