    Verdict

Mayo Lad will be popular for Richard Hughes who flies on to a good book of rides from Ascot. Placed on all six of his latest runs, the Hannon inmate is effective over a variety of trips and handles the ground well. He must get involved off an unchanged mark after a solid Lingfield third over this trip last time. However, BENZANNO created a good impression when striding away to success at Epsom last time and may be improving at a sufficient rate to defy the handicapper and concede weight to Mayo Lad. He looks progressive in this grade and has form on quick ground from his juvenile days. Rossetti, down to a mark of 71, is potentially interesting if finding his best form whilst It's A Privilege has been going along nicely enough but has yet to encounter ground better than good to soft.
