      Verdict

      Waseem Faris looks the pick of Mick Channon's pair in this while Cape Rainbow should improve on his debut third at Sandown. Norse Gold is starting to look exposed, however, while Emperor Vespasian needs to improve markedly on his Ascot run to get involved here. Lord Ofthe Shadows was just beaten in a Listed race over a longer trip here last month but didn't run up to that form back at this track last time and has already had seven starts this season. FROG HOLLOW has a bit to find with the Hannon runner on the book but looked a useful prospect when winning his maiden over C&D last month. The second was beaten less than two lengths in a Group 3 next time before winning her maiden so the form looks solid and Ralph Beckett's grey can double up today.
