A wide open finale and LAPINA is a speculative selection to land it where Rock Peak, Daring Racer and Is It Me could be listed as the main dangers. A winner off a 1lb higher mark at Nottingham in June, she has been disappointing in three outings since but the likely fast pace which will ensue will play into the hands of her hold-up style of racing. Rock Peak races off a career low mark here and the return to a quick surface should suit. He is relatively one paced and the step up to 1m 6f should suit. Daring Racer has yet to score in the UK and Laura Mongan¿s charge is now 2lb worse off for finishing five lengths in front of Lapina last time. On those terms you would imagine Lapina has it all to do but this is a more competitive race and likely to play more to Lapina¿s strengths. Is It Me is another likely front runner in the race who should ensure a decent gallop while Fourth Dimension is admirably consistent in his advancing years and could reward those seeking each way value but Lapina is given the nod to land the finale.
