    Verdict

A trappy claimer and narrow preference is for BAGBER over Sixties Swinger, Salybia Bay and By Command. The selection beat Bengal Tiger in a maiden at Kempton last month to finally get his head in front at the eleventh time of asking. That win should have boosted his confidence and it is interesting that connections have pitched him into claiming company for the first time today. Salybia Bay could be the fly in the ointment as she wasn't beaten far in a handicap at Kempton last week and she is another who is dropped into this grade for the first time today. Sixties Swinger was only beaten a head in a claimer at Yarmouth last month but he was bumped in the run-in that day and the stewards decided to award him the race. At this level he is clearly a leading player and a reproduction of that effort would give him a big chance. By Commnad is dropped in trip which is not sure to suit and we will give him the swerve today. This could become a tactical affair and it is only a tentative vote that goes the way of Bagber.
