Verdict

Montaly came close in this race last year, but has been out of sorts in 2018, and NEARLY CAUGHT looks a better option. He was always struggling in the Queen Alexandra last time but a small field over this trip on fast going will suit him ideally. Fun Mac hasn’t shown much in two outings this season, and all of High Jinx’s best form has been on easier going. Platitude, who returned to action by winning a decent handicap at Goodwood, looks the main danger.
