Verdict

Given TADALAVIL'S proven effectiveness on easy surfaces we will nominate Mick Channon's charge to land this while Billion Dollar Kid could emerge as the biggest threat. The wet spell encountered in August resulted in much improved performances from Tadalavil, who dropped to an attractive mark at the same time. Down 1lb for a good effort in a better contest than this over course and distance last time, Tadalavil has the most solid credentials coming into this. Billion Dollar Kid's breathing problems look to have been overcome by the return to sprinting although the prevailing ground conditions remain a worry. Superduper appears versatile with regard to ground conditions having won twice on lively surfaces and finished second twice on soft ground. Pretty Bonnie is 9lb higher for a recent Bath victory but importantly she is proven with an ease in the ground. Only the five going to post but it is quite a tight little heat and Tadalavil is the pick.
